My Personal Journey
I am originally from Columbus, Ohio and moved to Michigan when I was 17 to go to Michigan State. I was on the field hockey team at State. Our team went to two final fours, won two Big Ten Titles and two Big Ten Tournaments, it was a spectacular experience. I was a captain on the team for two years and was Michigan State's first ever First Team All-America. I graduated from Michigan State with a bachelors degree in Communications.

After graduation, I had a short stint with the US National Team, then I went directly into coaching. I was a coach for one season at Michigan State then moved to Charlottesville, Virginia to coach. I coached 6 consecutive seasons with the Cavaliers. Currently, I reside in Charlottesville, while planning to move back to Columbus. |
My husband and I have been married just over two years and have a beautiful baby girl. She is the joy of our lives. Parenthood has been an amazing experience and at the same time humbling. At this time, I help run the local Charlottesville youth field hockey club. Once my family and I move back to the midwest, it is my goal to start up my own club and continue to coach and teach the sport I love, field hockey.
